Biennial and Bye-Elections to the Council of States (Rajya Sabha) July 2010 3rd July 2010, Mr.Birender Singh sponsored by Indian National Congress and Mr.Ranbir Singh Parjapati sponsored by Indian National Lok Dal have been duly elected uncontested to the Council of States on the expiration of the term of office of Mr.Tarlochan Singh and Dr.Ajay Singh Chautala on August 1, 2010.
