Key Constituency : Patliputra

 

Patliputra is one of the important constituencies of the state of Bihar due to the reason that the RJD supremo and cabinet minister Lalu Prasad Yadav contested from here. His main rival was R P Yadav of the JD (U) and in total there were 16 candidates in the fray.

Lalu Prasad Yadav lost the election from Patliputra, although he won from Saran (the other seat he contested).
